The right of withdrawal from Religious Education and/or Collective Worship

Parents of pupils in VA schools and voluntary academies are permitted, by law, to request that their child is withdrawn from receiving all or part of religious education and/or collective worship given at the school and any such request shall stand until such time that a parent’s request is withdrawn.

Requests must be made via the school office for a 'Right to Withdraw Form for Parents and Carers'. Once this is completed it must be returned to our school office. Following this we will ask you to attend a short meeting to discuss your right of withdrawal so that you understand the options and are fully aware of any implications of your decision.
